But Thee, deep buried in the silent Tomb,

ABOUT THE POET

William Wordsworth was an English Romantic pet who had helped to launch the Romantic Age in English Literature. He was born in Cockermouth, U.K., on 7^th April 1770.

He took his last breathe on 23^rd April 1850, at Rydal Mount and Gardens, U.K.

He married Mary Hutchinson and had three children, named Dora, Catherine Wordsworth, and Anne Caroline Wordsworth.

He was one of the founders of English Romanticism and is always remembered as a spirituality port and also a poet with epistemological speculation. Wordsworth’s first poetic study began when he was a kid in grammar school. William Wordsworth is always best known for his ‘Lyrical Ballads’, ‘The Prelude’, and many more.

Happiness and grief : This poem, “XXIX [Surprised by Joy- Impatient as the Wind]”,   is a sonnet which had been written by William Wordsworth, has a relation with all the chapters of his life and the struggles he had faced in his life when he had to lose his young daughter who was just 3 years old when she was died and was buried under the soil, in 1812. Trough the poem, the poet highlights how he has to adjust and deal with his griefs on his dead daughter  and the memories of his young daughter. The poem begins with the happiness of sharing all the happiness he is experiencing in his life, with his dead daughter, and further proceeds with the grief that he won’t be able to see his daughter again in his whole life. Through this poem, the poet wants to share his grief to his daughter and also the happiness he is experiencing in his  present life. He wants to adore his daughter with all the happiness which he is experiencing now in his life. He implied that it was the love, that indulge him to recall the love and memories for his daughter.

The poet said that he loves a lot to share all the happiness to his bridge daughter. He feels it very bad to not to get his daughter in those happy moments. FORM AND STRUCTURE:

Yes, it definitely can! This poem is a great sonnet with a rhythmic scheme of abbaaccadedede. It is a type of Italian sonnet , also known as Petrarchian sonnet.

In the first part of the poem, which is a ‘octave’, has a rhythmic pattern as- abbaacca, which describe about the joyous feeling of the poet and how he would love to share all his happiness with his daughter, who has been buried under the soil, long back.
