Summary.

This is the story of a boy who had an encounter with a woman on platform 8 in the railway station. Her pleasing manners and her care impressed the boy so much.

Arun, a boy of 12 years was in his second year at a boarding school. He was waiting on platform no. 8 at Ambala station for the Northbound train. It was twelve nights and he was alone. He was on his way to boarding school. His parents considered him to be old enough to travel alone.

A lady who was dressed very simply saw him sitting alone and talked to him. They became very friendly.
